Fog!

In the UK, fog lights seem to be extras for your car that are there as either additional headlights (in the case of front fog lights), or to piss people off (rear fog lights). Then this morning, when I left work, it was a touch foggy.....to say the least. But were people using their fog lights??? Well some were, but some didn't even have their normal lights on!!!

I took this picture of my street when I got home. As you can see, well you can't see the end of the street very well. There is a row of houses at the end of the street.

Rule 114 of the Highway Code states you must not 'use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced'

Rule 226 states 'You must use headlights when visibility is seriously reduced, generally when you cannot see for more than 100 metres (328 feet)'

Think a few people need to be reminded of both of these
